What I do around here:

In addition to regular effective chiropractic adjustments, my treatments incorporate specific exercises, as well as open discussions with patients on how nutrition, regular exercise, stress reduction and management all contribute to a healthy and pain-free life.

I became a Chiropractor because:

I have always enjoyed helping others and wanted to help others benefit from the science, art and philosophy of chiropractic the same way it had helped me and other family members.  As active teen, I experienced some debilitating back pain and went to my mother’s chiropractor, who had helped her a great deal after a serious car accident.  Not only did my back pain disappear, but I had noticed other improvements  such as a decrease in severe digestion problems and TMJ pain and I knew that this is what I wanted to do.

My personal philosophy is:

Laughter is the best medicine! As a Chiropractor and part time comedian, I am a firm believer in this adage and that it is actually a close second to chiropractic, but both make a tremendous difference in one’s well-being.  Throughout my seventeen years in practice, I have used this balanced approach to best help patients achieve and maintain a high level of health and wellness.

What I do for fun:

Laugh and make other people laugh.  I love spending time with my wife and daughter, being active and outdoors in nature as much as possible, by running, hiking, roller blading or just sitting on some grass and enjoying the sun.  I am a big advocate of volunteering and community involvement and volunteer regularly with LiveWorkPlay and the Ottawa Humane Society.


What I do around here:

I prescribe, progress, and regress exercise programs as well as teach correct movement techniques to help others recover, stay mobile, and injury free. I also apply treatment modalities such as thermotherapy, cryotherapy, TENS, STIM, IFC, ultrasound, and taping.

I became an Exercise Specialist because:

I am passionate about interacting and learning from others, and love being able to see people reach their full potential and live with good quality of life through exercise and physical activity!

My personal philosophy is:

Get to know the person, not just the patient.

What I do for fun:

I enjoy activities that allow me to spend time with my wife and two daughters.  Riding on the bike trails of Ottawa, playing golf, hockey and soccer are just a few of the things that keep me active.  As well, spending a few days at the gym working on strength and aerobic conditioning allow me to stay fit and keep pace with my active children.  With very little down time, I occasionally like to spend a quiet night at home watching a movie or playing the Wii.
