Dr. Bryan Watson
Doctor of Chiropractic
What I do around here:
With over sixteen years of experience working as a chiropractor, I have seen the devastating effects that spinal injuries can play on people’s lives and can empathize with the helplessness that one can feel when they are in the midst of constant discomfort. My approach to care draws on the knowledge that I have gained over the years and the skills that I have acquired which are directed towards relieving pain, improving mobility, preventing future recurrence, and inspiring people to optimize their health.
I became a Chiropractor because:
As an Ottawa native, I attended St. Pius X High School then went on to complete a degree in Biology at Carleton University. During those years, I was very active in sports and suffered many injuries while playing rugby at the collegiate, provincial, and national level. It was during this time, I realized that my performance and recovery from injuries were significantly enhanced when I directed my lifestyle to areas that perpetuate health. This philosophy of wellbeing was very much in alignment with chiropractic. As fate would have it, Life University in Atlanta Georgia, was not only the world’s largest Chiropractic School, but also had one of the premiere rugby teams in North America. Needless to say, I graduated from this university 5 years later.
My personal philosophy is:
My philosophy is one where I help families express and maintain optimal health naturally, minimizing the detrimental effects of spinal subluxations using safe and effective chiropractic techniques. I endeavour to educate our community that life and health come from within, and that the maintenance of health is far superior to the treatment of disease.
What I do for fun:
I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and two kids. Both my children are competitive ski racers so we are always up at the ski hills. Life is good!
