Plantar Fasciitis is a type of foot pain that is caused by inflammation in the tissues on the bottom of your feet. It typically occurs after standing or walking for extended periods of time.

The plantar fascia supports the arch of the foot. When it becomes inflamed, it can be very painful to walk or stand on your feet. The most common symptom is pain in the heel and along the sole of the foot. This pain often gets worse after long periods of standing or walking. Other symptoms may include swelling, stiffness, and redness in the affected area.
