What I do around here:

As a physiotherapist, I promote the healing and prevention of injuries and strive to maintain my patient’s highest level of function. I am here to help them meet their goals and see to it that they get there safely.

I became a Physiotherapist because:

I was given a choice among three of the noblest of professions. To teach, to preach, or to heal. I have terrible stage fright, so I was more than happy to choose to heal. I first encountered physical therapists when I was in high school visiting the local hospital. They worked with veterans who lost their limbs fighting in a war somewhere far away. It was a heart-stopping site to behold, and I felt this profession was my future.

My personal philosophy is:

Health is happiness! If I were to break down my philosophy about health it would go this way: Water, Sleep, Healthy food, Positive attitude, Self-confidence, Prayer and Exercise.

What I do for fun:

I spend a lot of my free time with my kids, Andre and Eloise. We hike through Ottawa’s trails during the summer and toboggan down the slopes at the Arboretum in the winter. I sing in the church choir to renew the spirit and go to Karaoke with friends to de-stress every now and then.
