What are a few reasons that you should start walking? Walking for 30 minutes daily is one of the best things that you can do for your body and your mind.

The great thing about walking is that it is free and the only equipment required is a pair of shoes! You can choose to walk on paths or on nature trails. Walking can be done all year around.

2) You’ll get a boost of Endorphins & Serotonin.

Endorphins and Serotonin are neurotransmitters that are responsible for happiness. Walking is one way that can intentionally cause them to flow through the body. This can result in an improved mood following the exercise.

3) Walking can be social and fun.

If you are someone who enjoys chatting with friends, we recommend walking together. You forget that you are exercising and get wrapped up in your conversation. If done regularly, the walks with your friends can become something that you look forward to!
